CAASNM recognizes the family of the late Elisa West, who was awarded the Larry Cottingham Community Action Award for her tremendous gifts of time to Coats for Kids over the years. Her family, including Elisa’s son Albert Herrera, joined CAASNM staff for a special luncheon June 28 and was presented the award by CAASNM CEO Dawn Hommer. Elisa directed the NMSU/Dona Ana County HeadStart program for many years.
